Position Overview


We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual to join the Customer Technical Success (CTS) Data & Analytics team. Data and analytics are becoming increasingly important to how businesses operate. Within the Autodesk Customer Technical Success Organization, delivering actionable, timely, and predictive insights has become one of the strategic goals for the coming years. The Data & Analytics team has the task of simplifying multiple data sources and, using data science techniques, converting this data into consumable and actionable insights for our field teams. As a successful candidate for the BI Developer role, you will assist with the design and development of products in the form of dashboards to enable actionable and predictive insights.


Responsibilities


As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for interpreting business requests and requirements and translating them into technical visualization outputs, summarizing data, and presenting results in Power BI. You will-


  • Manage, develop, and test new features for existing Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Design and deliver new self-service and ad-hoc Power BI reports and dashboards to support various business needs
  • Design, create, and interpret SQL queries to extract or manipulate data.
  • Understand dimensional modeling in Power BI
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular data validation and governance practices
  • Develop stories from data and visuals to present to non-technical audiences.
  • Use corporate style/brand guidelines for visualizations

Minimum Qualifications


  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with Power BI, DAX
  • Experience in Visual Design and Data Storytelling
  • Experience in Requirements Gathering

Preferred Qualifications


  • SQL (Snowflake, Hive, Oracle RDBMS, Amazon Redshift) is a plus
  • Data analysis experience
  • Python experience is a plus
