Job Description
Overall Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot.
- Implement design patterns and apply OOP concepts in software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Conduct code reviews and write unit tests using Junit and Mockito.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the development and production environments.
Software Requirements:
- Strong technical expertise in Java (1.8 and above), JDBC, Collections, IO, and Multithreading.
- Experience with Spring Boot and knowledge of Spring framework.
- Proficient in SQL and ORM tools like Hibernate.
- Familiarity with SDLC processes, Eclipse, Gradle, Maven, GIT, and Stash.
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
Technical Skills:
Java Development:
- Strong technical expertise in Java (1.8 and above), including JDBC, Collections, IO, and Multithreading.
Microservices:
- Experience in developing and maintaining microservices using Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of the Spring framework.
Database Management:
- Proficient in SQL and ORM tools like Hibernate.
- Experience with PostgreSQL database (good to have).
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC):
- Familiarity with SDLC processes, Eclipse, Gradle, Maven, GIT, and Stash.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct code reviews and write unit tests using Junit and Mockito.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and testing methodologies (good to have).
Operating Systems and Cloud Platforms:
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in software development with a focus on Java and microservices.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
