Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Azure Security Architect to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing secure and scalable cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud security, compliance frameworks, and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Design and document architecture standards, patterns, and reusable artifacts for cloud-based solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security and governance frameworks while implementing security best practices.
- Proactively identify and resolve system issues to maintain high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Optimize cloud costs through strategic management of Azure resources and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy Azure services within existing enterprise platforms.
- Present technical solutions and architecture designs to stakeholders and leadership.
Software Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Azure services and tools.
- Familiarity with cloud security tools and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with monitoring and observability solutions.
Technical Skills:
Design Architecture, Standards & Patterns:
- Experience in creating reusable architecture artifacts and maintaining architecture repositories.
- Ability to design and implement scalable, resilient, and efficient cloud-based solutions.
Security and Compliance:
- Strong understanding of cloud security, data governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge of best practices in cloud security, including IAM roles, policies, security groups, and encryption.
Resiliency and Cost Optimization:
- Proactively identify system issues to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Understanding of cloud cost management and strategies for optimizing costs across infrastructure and services.
Azure Services:
- Proficient in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS computing; familiarity with Azure services such as Azure VMs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, and API Management.
- Experience with Azure deployment models (Private, Public, and Hybrid clouds).
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including Azure SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
- Ability to implement Azure monitoring capabilities and integrate with observability tools.
Communication and Presentation Skills:
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for stakeholders.
- Proficient in presenting technical solutions to Review Boards and Business Stakeholders.
Experience:
- 10+ years in cloud architecture, with a focus on Azure.
- Proven experience in security architecture and compliance within cloud environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to best practices.
