No matter where you are located, you will join a dedicated, creative, and diverse community that will help you discover your fullest potential.</i></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>AWS Platform Architect</strong> to join our team and lead the development and implementation of robust and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on the AWS platform.</p><p/><p>The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS technologies and best practices, a strong background in cloud architecture, and a proven track record of designing and deploying scalable and secure solutions in a multi-account AWS environment.</p><br/><br/>RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Design and implement AWS landing zones using AWS Control Tower and AWS Organizations</li><li>Define and enforce security policies and best practices for AWS environments</li><li>Configure secure and performant AWS networks, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and network access controls</li><li>Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform or CloudFormation</li><li>Develop and maintain scalable and efficient multi-account strategy using AWS Organization and Service Control Policies</li><li>Monitor and optimize AWS resource utilization and cost</li><li>Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectures are aligned with business requirements</li><li>Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members</li><li>Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices</li></ul><br/>REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>11 to 15 years of experience in cloud architecture and design</li><li>Strong experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure, AWS Organization & Account structures</li><li>Deep understanding of security practices including IAM, GXP, and encryption mechanisms</li><li>Expertise in infrastructure networking and performance optimization</li><li>Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation</li><li>Hands-on experience with AWS Service Control Policies and AWS Control Tower</li><li>Proficiency in Multi-Account Strategy and management</li><li>Experience with production environment handling in multi-accounts setup</li><li>In-depth knowledge of Stacksets and Service Catalog</li><li>Demonstrated ability to design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field</li></ul><br/>NICE TO HAVE<ul><li>AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator</li><li>Knowledge of cloud security compliance and regulations</li><li>Experience with other cloud providers such as Azure or Google Cloud</li></ul><br/>WE OFFER<ul><li>Opportunity to work on technical challenges that may impact across geographies</li><li>Vast opportunities for self-development: online university, knowledge sharing opportunities globally, learning opportunities through external certifications</li><li>Opportunity to share your ideas on international platforms</li><li>Sponsored Tech Talks &amp; Hackathons</li><li>Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions</li><li>Possibility to relocate to any EPAM office for short and long-term projects</li><li>Focused individual development</li><li>Benefit package</li><ul><li>Health benefits</li><li>Retirement benefits</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Flexible benefits</li></ul><li>Forums to explore beyond work passion (CSR, photography, painting, sports, etc.)</li></ul>
