Enterprise Excellence Sr. Tech Quality Assurance Analyst - C12
The Quality Assurance lead is responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of Quality processes. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to improvement and performance activities by providing measurement, evaluation, and assessment services relating to application & data Quality and data production. The QA lead is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends and is highly skilled and has expertise in leading the automation designing, deployment and management of systems supporting cutting-edge technologies. They will have hands on experience with the QA architecture and support the application control, governance, and compliance for the EE Tech.
Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in the other teams.
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to testing projects with respect to on-time and proper execution of tasks, internal trainings, control and reporting to Senior Management.
- Day-to-day management & support of Testing project/s.
- Active management through goals, key performance, and quality indicators with view of improving overall quality and timeliness of Testing delivery.
- Building and maintenance of strong client relationships that enforces the quality of the Citi service.
- Building effective relationships with production/BAU teams globally, enabling high quality and timely delivery of projects and ensuring BAU satisfaction from delivered initiatives.
- Provide functional test analysis, planning, design, execution and reporting for testing assignments.
- Drives automation approaches for various types of testing (SIT, UAT etc) for web/ UI and database applications
- Estimation & Milestone planning for the project and provide estimates for the UAT.
- Ensure the deliverables are managed within the defines timelines.
- Highlight Risk and issues at management level.
- Extensive liaison and direct contact with a diverse range of business and technology functions, both within the bank and with key vendors.
- Prepare where required: Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Data, Test Coverage analysis for a given testing assignment.
- Work closely with the stakeholders or other groups in preparation and execution of the planned functional testing.
- Play a lead role in the analysis and reporting of test results, working closely with business, technology, and support areas to investigate and interpret test findings.
- Assist in the reception and quality assurance of the business requirements, solution design and business process documents individual projects.
- As a member of the EE team, participate in peer reviews of Test Approaches, Test Plans, Test Conditions and Test Scripts as well as contributing to the on-going development of test strategy and policy within the Testing Program.
- Track the schedule and testing progress and be accountable for the tasks and releases.
- Manage the client meetings and defect calls independently.
Qualifications:
- 8+ Years of experience, role requires candidate to be involved in the full project lifecycle, bring in innovative smart automation suggestion to testing new developments provide the anticipated functionality, to work independently and to ensure current functionality is unaffected.
- Deep expertise in automation tools like - Selenium, BDD, TestNG, Cucumber with good concepts of Java/Python - OOPS concepts.
- Good understanding of how to connect with Test Data.
- Awareness in creation of Framework / knowledge in updating the scenarios.
- Need exposure in usage of variables in Test Data. Knowledge in optimization of execution approaches.
- Need an individual performer for completing tasks.
- Capable to complete the tasks e2e on their own.
- Scratch in Selenium Framework. Certifications in Selenium would be an added advantage.
- Good command of SQL query - Working knowledge.
- Create quality test plans, test cases, scenarios & ensuring quality assurance for software development projects in various stages & managing process control as per standards.
- Exposure on functional Test Automation & hybrid, keyword-driven, data-driven, Behavior Driven automation frameworks.
- Good knowledge of JIRA Testing and defect management tool with JIRA Zephyr Test management Tool.
- Analyze test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test scripts for requirement/user story validation, integration, and regression testing.
- Provide accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration and work effort, along with confidence level, and foreseeable.
- Responsible for test data conditioning.
- Trace test cases and results back to specific user stories/requirements/quality risks.
- Plan and prepare metrics to ensure milestone are achieved for the planned release
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, IT, engineering, or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred. Relevant Certifications are a plus.
