Architect has to have a broad knowledge and hands on experience in all relevant embedded clusters, mentioned belowEmbedded SW development:Broad knowledge about different controller architectures and computing principlesArchitectures including FPGA, SoC, DSP, µC, µPPrinciples: Interrupts, Blocking, ...Communication with peripheral devicesProgramming Language :Deep knowledge about programming methods and broad understanding of syntax and semantics of multiple common languages: e.g. C, C++, VHDL, Assembler, Python, Java.Relevant for sales estimations and involvement in project acquisition processes.Process, Methods and Tools :Basic knowledge of the "typical" SW-engineering toolsDeep knowledge in one architecture authoring toolSoftware Engineering:Deep knowledge about the whole lifecycle process (various projects and domains)Deep knowledge about software architecture metrics and SW-RefactoringTesting Methods:Broad knowledge about the testing process, strategies and frameworks
