Automation Technology Delivery Senior Manager

Kantar’s Worldpanel division is searching for an experienced and collaborativeTech Automation Delivery Managerto join our global teams. Based in Bengalore, India, this is an opportunity to be part of the company’s exciting vision for the future!


Role’s Mission


  • Reporting directly to the Global Regions Tech Director,The Tech Automation Delivery Managerwill lead, manage, and ensure the consistency, alignment, and delivery of automation initiatives across multiple regions.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for prioritizing automation projects, building and leading a high-performing team, and serving as the primary point of contact for all automation efforts within the company.
  • The role will work in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment, collaborating with stakeholders at various levels of the organizational hierarchy to ensure successful implementation and optimization of automation strategies.
  • Extremely good communication skills are required as well as strategic thinking, and the ability to balance competing priorities effectively.

Your Key Outcomes will be…


Automation Strategy & Delivery:


  • Lead the development, implementation, and management of the automation roadmap, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regional needs.
  • Ensure consistency, efficiency, and synergies across all automation initiatives, avoiding duplication of efforts.
  • Drive the prioritization and scheduling of automation projects across different regions based on strategic importance and resource availability.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and process optimization through automation.

Team Leadership & Development:


  • Build, mentor, and lead a diverse, cross-functional automation team with the capability to deliver on complex projects.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture.
  • Drive the development of team capabilities in automation technologies, methodologies, and best practices.

Stakeholder Management:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all automation-related inquiries, ensuring clear and consistent communication across the organization.
  • Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, including regional leads, department heads, and senior executives, to align on priorities and deliverables.
  • Manage communication and reporting on automation progress, ensuring that stakeholders are informed about key milestones, risks, and outcomes.

Multi-Region & Multi-Cultural Collaboration:


  • Coordinate automation efforts across multiple regions, ensuring cultural sensitivities are addressed and regional requirements are met.
  • Develop a deep understanding of local markets, regulations, and practices to ensure automation solutions are effective and compliant in each region.
  • Facilitate collaboration across time zones and languages to deliver cohesive global automation strategies.

Project & Priority Management:


  • Establish project governance frameworks to ensure all automation initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Balance competing priorities from different regions and departments, ensuring the most impactful automation projects are given precedence.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to automation projects, proactively addressing issues that may hinder delivery.

Standards & Best Practices:


  • Define and implement standards, processes, and methodologies for automation development, delivery, and governance across the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve automation practices and ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team and the wider organization.

Key Capabilities


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in automation technologies or project management are a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in automation delivery management, with a track record of success leading complex automation projects.
  • Experience in setting up and leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong understanding of automation technologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., no code/low code approach, RPA, AI, machine learning, workflow automation, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural, multi-regional environment.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with Agile, Scrum, or other delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and to balance strategic and tactical initiatives.
