About the Position:

Project IT/Automation Services for Hardware Integration.

Key Accountabilities:

• The Role Brief:

  
  

  Bachelor’s degree in an I.T. related field is preferred.

  
  
• Work experience with VMWare (Required)
  • VMware administration responsible for configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and overall support of multiple VMware environments
  • Setup, install, configure, and triage ESXi Hosts (Rack Mount and Blade Servers).
  • Maintain and restore VM backups and snapshots
• VMWare experience with versions 5.5+ specially migrations to newer regularly supported versions of 6.5+ (Required)
• Linux Administrator Experience (Required)
• Solid understanding of virtualization concepts, including networking, storage, and resource management
  • Experience with SAN configuration (Required)
  • Experience in networking – firewalls, wireless, routing, subnets, VLANs. (Highly Desired)
• Experience with server operating systems. (Required)
• Experience in providing end-user onsite or remote support for Server and hardware troubleshooting.
• Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with direct focus on the source of problems to solve the problem quickly and effectively. (Required)
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills
• Show flexibility under changing conditions
• Excellent time management
• Able to work well within a team

• Key Responsibilities:

  
  
• Install, configure, upgrade, maintain and support server systems based on client’s requests and maintenance.
• Manages the VMware virtualization platform and ensures the installation of upgrades, patches, and new versions of all VMware components (vSphere, VCenter, Site Recovery Manager, etc.).
• Responsible for the administration of the VMware hardware platform that supports all virtualized systems running on the Intel platform; this includes provisioning of computing hardware as needed, applying firmware upgrades, and performing break-fix to ensure system performance, resiliency, and security.
• Linux Operation System's installation, configuration, evaluation, upgrading, patching, monitoring, analyzing, and deploying.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve recurring and incidental support issues for server and serverless O/S
• Provide remote support and onsite working directly with end-user and equipment.
• Produce, maintain, and update technical documentation.
• Monitor performance of servers, and server applications, identify root-cause and resolve issues.
• Optimizing and evaluating the system regularly
• Ensuring that the highest quality of service is provided to promote superior customer satisfaction.
• Bear high levels of responsibility: making decisions, being accountable.

Key qualifications preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in an I.T. related field is preferred.
