Job Description Summary:
As part of warehouse team ensures control and management of the ASRS (Automatic Storage and Retrieval System), AGV system, Picking Robots to ensure the correct flow of materials, ensuring integration and fault-less operation for areas such as picking, dispatch, receipt, among others.
Manage the correct synchronization and interaction between SAP and the ASRS along with other related systems.
Participate in and lead improvement initiatives related to the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of the ASRS, as well as the management of faults, new projects, safety, storage, trends, and others related to the system and its different components or equipment such as AGV’s, racks, mobile devices, conveyors, robots and others. In charge of third part maintenance team and coordinate requirements with Warehouse team to ensure activities are performed in accordance with the plant and customer needs. Ensuring of error free operations and essential remote or physical troubleshooting of equipment’s in warehouse to ensure 100% delivery of material to internal and external customers. Establish and develop internal controls for safety, security, and inventory control. Ensure that the inventories movements are correctly reflect in TCCC systems
Day to Day Operations
- Ensure the correct functionality of the ASRS in: shipping, receiving, picking and supply processes to production and the storage of materials according to their temperature and storage conditions, ensuring the balance of flows between the involved departments.
- Manage the performance of the integration and optimization of the company's different platforms with the ASRS to ensure correct system communication.
- Ensure warehouse personnel capability in research processes and root cause analysis, supported by data traceability to determine ASRS faults and other sub-system faults that impact operation using analysis and problem-solving tools.
- Manage and follow up on internal ASRS incidents, through the creation of tickets, emails, routines, among others, including safety, infrastructure, product, and/or personnel aspects.
- Conduct training and create procedures and work aids for associates and general personnel on the handling and use of the ASRS, AGV, Robots and related sub-system’s and all its components (equipment, faults, inventories, flows, among others).
- Manage and ensure resolution of communication error between eWM and other sub-systems with help of support teams from SAP and vendor.
- Ownership for control room to ensure equipment uptime, reports generation, fault finding, resolution and timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure co-ordination with ground operations team to ensure inventory hygiene, timely delivery or calling of manual commands along with prioritization of task for automated systems.
- Participate in/or lead in the development of new ASRS functionalities, Dashboards, design changes, improvements, tests, and others, to improve efficiency, efficacy, process, and storage capacity.
- Participate in global benchmarking platforms for the design, development, and implementation of automation of the company's ASRS or other related systems for the plant.
- Review the performance of ASRS suppliers or others related to improve the service provided in favor of the ASRS system reliability.
- Comply with Food Safety guidelines, Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, Health, and Occupational Safety), KORE Corporate Standards and any other legal requirements applicable, established or subscribed by the company, related to the position, complying with internal policies, plans, and procedures that ensure the correct implementation and continuous improvement of the company.
- Generate a report of team missions by area and identify their productivity, analyzing the delivered OEE as a whole and proposing opportunities for improvement in flows, times, and shifts for each process.
