YOUR ROLE-
Job Responsibilities:
Major Accountabilities:
Respected execution-oriented leader engaging in launch execution as required and with focus on Software
Actively monitor execution status, identifying risks based on coordination with program team
When risks are found directly engage in execution support as required
Prepare and present Software status/risk assessments to ASUX executives (Immediate turnaround)
Prepare structured project reviews focusing on Software status and support for ASUX senior leadership
Support skillset development with customized trainings/coaching to the Program Management team
Own Aptiv SW development process and links to PDP working with Engineering Teams to develop and implement improvements
Take the role of voting assessor for Software on all program/project complexities from A to C
Document and track gate action items and guide the team to the on-time resolution
Troubleshoot delayed action items and escalation up to the VP level when needed
Guide and actively participate in lessons learned exercises
Ensure that resulting improvement actions on PDP process are implemented
Secure that the set of SW KPIs defined to measure launch performances are relevant to the internal and customer flawless launch expectations
Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Engineering functions to align on KPIs meaningful to the business
Provide leadership status updates as requested and with short notice
YOUR BACKGROUND
Key Experience/Skill Requisites:
Fluency in English
Experience with ASPICE
Experience with scrum and agile principles, process and tracking
Hands on knowledge of software development and tracking tools including Jira
Release management and tracking experience.
At least 5 years of experience in program management of SW product/ solution release in a complex, cross functional environment.
Ability to assess SW maturity, risks and issues based on appropriate Software development and quality metrics
Proven change management experience, especially with project management processes and metrics
Knowledge of automotive development and release milestones will be an added advantage
Experience with Qlik sense or other visualization tools
