Assurance Manager
Job Description:
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Make a difference to strengthen the control environment by validation of controls, working to liaison with the auditors for the completion of controls and coordinate to complete audits for specific areas
You are responsible for
Identifying potential control risk in regular operational deliverables and Taking steps to remediate Ineffective controls
Being the audit point of contact and liaison with auditors
Review of Work Instructions to Internal controls and audit and propose suggestion to improve controls
Monitoring allocation and completion of assurance checks in the Assurance tool
Conduct of review of the controls execution and document the results and reporting of findings / observations
Developing testing methodologies to evaluate the adequacy of controls; and Planning and performing operational and financial audits
You are a part of
You will be part of the audit coordination team within the RTR function at GBS, Chennai
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
CA Final with minimum audit experience of 3+ years preferably for units covered by SOX
Exposure to internal and statutory audit of large corporates; or experience in the internal controls of a medium or large organization
Excellent communication skills and understanding of the control environment of an organization
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
