Job DescriptionJOB PURPOSE
Responsible for development of MBD Tools platform used for Powertrain Software development as per the end-user requirements across V-cycle
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop or update the tools as per Model Based Design Guidelines defined by OEM. Should handle the activities independently. Should also be part of peer-reviews and validation.
- Make sure Team adhere to the Process and Guidelines and follow the development framework. Often demonstrate autonomous delivery for project QCD.
- Contribute for the continuous improvement of the Process, Guidelines & Templates.
- Create Requirement document, Validation report and User Manual for all the Tools Perform Design review & Tech Reviews for all Deliveries.
- Analyze and resolve K2/K1 issues <1day of time Actively propose improvement ideas to improve QCT
- Act as a relay trainer, responsible for training deployment and Coaching Junior level/ peers
- Have good understanding about the latest technology in software development.
- Enlarge the skill with external trainings, online course
MBD Tools + CICD :
Responsibilities :
- Understand MDB standard and workflow.
- Strong knowledge on Data pipelines/workflow creation is preferred.
- Experience in CI/CD using GitLab.
- Automate the manual processes using suitable scripting language.
- Collaborate with software and system engineers to understand MBD project requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for MBD workflows, integrating tools and others.
- Develop scripts and automation tools to facilitate the seamless execution of MBD processes within CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate version control systems (e.g., Git) into CI/CD workflows to manage changes to models, scripts, and configurations.
- Proficient in Linux systems administration, with a strong command of shell and pearl scripting.
Tools Skills :
• Configuration Tools: SVN, Dimension, Git
• Tools: MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Jenkins, CI-CD tools, Docker image
• Programming/Scripting: C, shell, Perl, Python, M-scripting
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- M.E./ M.Tech in Communication Engineering / Electrical Engineering/VLSI/Embedded
- B.E./ B.Tech. in Automobile Engineering/ECE/CS/EEE with good academic standing
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- 5 to 8 years of experience in MATLAB Model Based Design using Simulink and Stateflow (Preferably Automotive/Equivalent)
- Working knowledge in MATLAB scripting, Python and VB macros. Experience in other scripting language and automation tools is added advantage.
- Familiar with Automotive Software Development Process, Standards & Tools such as MAAB, ISO26262, AUTOSAR, ASPICE & JIRA
