Responsible for operations of both Inward & Outward stores.
Determines work schedules and assigns areas of responsibility to warehouse personnel packing, loading, crating, recouping, and dispatching at both Inward & Outward store.
Tracks and provides management reporting on key metrics
Work with department heads to insure coordination of purchasing, storage, and shipping in timely and most cost efficient manner
Develop and manage quality improvement initiatives like 5-S, Kanban system at both Inward & Outward Store.
Implement business strategies set forth by senior management and participate in improving the business by administering and evaluating short- and long-term objectives for warehouse offering potential alternatives to existing methods
Developing the skills and competencies of all warehouse staff members enabling a flexible workforce
Performance management of all warehouse staff
Ensure the company’s Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental procedures are adhered to within the warehouse
Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or similar discipline
Bachelor's degree in Business Logistics or Transportation or 8 (eight) years of combined college and/or relevant equivalent work experience is required
Must have the ability to read and write in English
Must be able to withstand demanding working environments in both the warehouse
Job Experience :
Inventory planning systems experience required
Experience leading both Inward and Outward stores
Sound knowledge of MM- SAP Module for Inward Store & Knowledge of S&D – SAP Module
Should have lead team at both Inward & Outward Stores.
Knowledge of Inward – Should have experience related to Inward of BOM / NON BOM materials, Job work activity like Inward, Material reconciliation & credit note activity for return material, Inventory stock counting
Knowledge of S&D warehouse :- Should have experience related to dispatch of domestic / export customer ( B-B transactions )
Should have sound knowledge of GST & Sales Tax related to dispatches.
Proper coordination with external & internal customers.
