The Facilies Assistant Manager supports the Facilies Manager in overseeing the daily operaons and
maintenance of the organizaon's facilies. This role ensures that the facilies are safe, funconal, and
well-maintained, while also coordinang with various departments to meet their needs. The Facilies
Assistant Manager plays a key role in managing vendor relaonships, overseeing maintenance schedules,
and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulaons.
Your Role
Assist in managing the day-to-day operaons of the facility, including maintenance, security,
janitorial services, and space management.
Coordinate and supervise the work of maintenance staff and contractors/service providers to
ensure mely and efficient compleon of tasks.
Monitor and maintain building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety
systems.
Conduct regular inspecons of facilies to idenfy and address maintenance needs and safety
hazards.
Assist in the development and implementaon of facility management policies, procedures, and
standards.
Manage vendor relaonships, including negoang contracts, monitoring performance, and
ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
Support space planning and ulizaon efforts, including office moves, reconfiguraons, and
occupancy planning.
Oversee of Facility interior construcon project and mely execuon and compleon.
Prepare and manage the facilies budget, including tracking expenses and ensuring costeffec
ve operaons.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulaons, including conducng
regular safety audits and inspecons.
Assist in the coordinaon of emergency response and business connuity plans.
Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, addressing facility-related requests
and concerns promptly and effecvely.
Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
Bachelor's degree in Facilies Management, Business Administraon, or a related field.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in facilies management or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulaons.
Excellent organizaonal and project management skills, with the ability to priorize tasks and
manage mulple projects simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal and communicaon skills, with the ability to work effecvely with internal
and external stakeholders.
Good Proficiency in facility management soware and Microso Office Suite.
Ability to respond to emergencies and provide support outside of regular business hours as
needed.
Cerficaon in Facilies Management (FMP) or similar is a plus.
Ability to handle sensive and confidenal informaon with discreon and integrity.
Physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly and effecvely in emergencies.
