Job Description
- Manage Investment and Divestment activities such as scheduling IC committee meetings, preparation of minutes and resolutions, Deal KYC, Obtaining Trustee consents, etc.
- Managing daily operations of AIF Funds according to the Fund Documents and coordinating with the fund administrator and Investors
- Stakeholder management (auditors, trustees, bankers, custodians, fund accounting professional, tax advisors, legal Advisors and other stakeholders) on a timely basis.
- Cashflow monitoring and reporting from underlying portfolio companies.
- Ensuring integrity and completeness of financial records of AIF, including banking, reconciliations & expense payments.
- Assist in statutory and other regulatory audit processes (including inspection from regulatory body) and ensure seamless closure within the timelines.
- Ensuring timeliness of various tax filings as required for the AIF including tax payments, tax returns and other activities as required as per tax regulations applicable.
- Ensuring investor reporting within the timeframe agreed in the documents/ regulations including MIS management for financial performance.
- Calculating, reviewing and managing investor distributions as per Fund documents.
- Assist in the valuation exercise of the Fund portfolio companies.
- Assisting deal & AM teams in activities required for asset management of portfolio investment.
- Assisting FME entity with tasks such as time allocations, presentations & income projections.
- Assist in setting up new AIF / schemes for the FME entity.
- Investor Activities including onboarding, KYC, drawdowns,
- Assist in any strategic matters across entities.
- Keeping abreast with the changing regulations and analyzing its impact on the existing operations.
- Assisting Compliance / legal team in Fund documentation.
- Maintaining internal trackers and checklists to ensure all areas of AIF are effectively monitored.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Qualifications Chartered Accountant with relevant experience of 9 - 13 years.
- Relevant experience of working with in-house accounts / operations division of AIF / fund administrators / Global Funds.
- Knowledge of relevant GIFT City, AIF and FPI regulations, General Accounting practices and Indian Tax regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS word and Power point.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks assigned.
- Willingness to work in a cross-functional set-up and adapt to evolving work environment.
