Job Summary


Looking for a Software Test – Associate Tech Lead who will be providing test support on the project agreements.



Key Competencies


  • 7 to 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Good understanding of Embedded Systems.
  • Work experience on 2+ Embedded Testing projects from initial phases.
  • Worked on communication protocols like CAN, MODBUS, Serial port, rs232/485.
  • Hands on experience or knowledge in Test Automation Equipment for Embedded Systems - Preferably Python Scripting.
  • Extensive knowledge on Software Test Life Cycle Process and Test Methodologies.
  • Good communication skills and able to work well in a team.
  • Good Analytical and Logical thinking skills.
  • Extensive experience on bug life cycle and Test management tools
  • Team handling experience

Responsibilities


  • Take ownership in training and grooming the team members/new joiners.
  • Involve in Requirement Discussions and test preparation activities like Test Plan/Reviews.
  • Involve in Use Case discussions with the system engineers
  • Take Ownership of test artifacts review and close the gaps if any at the start phase of the project
  • Support the team in coming up with more egde cases and contribute towards more test coverage.
  • Work towards extending the current Automation framework to have more automation in the respective project.

Qualifications


Bachelor’s or master’s in engineering. Background of Electronics/Instrumentation – Preferable.
