About the Job:The Red Hat UXE P Quality Engineering (QE) team is looking for an Associate Quality Engineer to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will use your technical skills to help us improve our customer/internal-facing solutions and help develop automated tests for a functional area of a solution within our extensive portfolio of offerings. To do so successfully, you'll first need to understand the solution's architecture and how it integrates with other offerings. As an Associate Quality Engineer, you will serve as an individual contributor of the team and interact with other team members and developers.What will you do?Contribute to automated test strategies, methodologies, processes, and procedures.Understand existing project architectures and associated infrastructure pieces to support the QE methodology, process, and procedures.Contribute to weekly team meetingsProvide an accurate and timely status of testing efforts and quality statistics to the product leadership teamWhat will yo bring?Bachelor's degree in information technology (IT) or computer science with 1+ years of related experienceKnowledge of user interface (UI) automation using Selenium or any other open source tool like Cypress and API automation.Hands-on experience with a programming language: Java or python.Knowledge of APIs, HTTP communication and Performance testing of web applicationsKnowledge of software testing and engineering conceptsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.About Red HatRed Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterpriseopen source software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
