Job description
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Developer with 3-4 years of experience in various technologies including Java, Python, PySpark, SQL and NoSQL databases, and AWS services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for being the 1st line support team personnel troubleshooting production issues, answering customer queries, and testing deployed features in the production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the 1st line of support for the marketing helpdesk team.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production applications.
Answer customer queries and provide technical support.
Test and validate deployed features within applications in the production environment.
Collaborate with development teams to understand and support existing applications.
Step in to create fixes for production issues , test them in lower environments and roll them out to production adhering to the change management processes.
Create robust processes to ensure issues are being fed back to the development teams to address root causes in future work.
Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference.
Mandatory Skills:
Programming Languages: In depth knowledge and Experience in Python and at least one of the object-oriented languages Java or .NET
Big Data Technologies: PySpark
NoSQL Databases: MongoDB
AWS Services: Exposure to 2 or more of the following services : EMR serverless, Apache Airflow, Lambda and DynamoDB
General: Ability to quickly understand and support existing production applications.
