Associate Site Reliability Engineer:

This position will allow you the opportunity to expand your technical skills while networking with professionals in Data Center operations, technology development and project management teams.


About the Role:

  • Represent operations in a technical fashion to leadership and development teams.
  • Contribute and develop documentations on Application services, infrastructure details, Recovery Procedures, Root cause analysis and post incident review.
  • Perform change management functions involving software deployment and server maintenance requests.  Documenting the change procedures/instructions and present in change advisory board meetings for necessary approvals.
  • Respond and mitigate incidents as they occur within the environment.
  • Security best practices for cloud
  • Demonstrate high-proficiency in automation, system monitoring, and cloud-native applications.
  • Preference to work in an Agile environment, committed to continuously improve that environment.
  • Familiar with software development and QA practices (e.g. Agile)
  • Perform periodic on-call duty on a rotational basis.

About You:


  • College degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an enterprise level operation support role OR DevOps role.
  • Expertise in Linux system administration, Java based applications, databases (relational and NoSQL), Web Servers (Apache, IIS), networking and storage technologies.
  • Experience with Load balancers and AWS services such as AWS Docker and Kubernetes, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CodeDeploy, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, ECR, Fargate, Elastic Search, AWS Cognito, CloudFront, networking concepts etc.,
  • Continuous delivery and Infrastructure automation tools such as AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeCommit, Git, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Ansible, terraform, AzureDevOps etc.,
  • Ability to manage/support the centralised logging (ELK), performance metrics, event monitoring for infrastructure and cloud services via (Datadog)
  • Ability to code in one of the programming languages/Scripting (Bash, Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of ITIL Change and Incident management processes.
  • Working experience with tools such as PagerDuty, ServiceNow, Datadog.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
