Job summary:
The Compliance Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) Associate will work within the Central Operational Risk Management “ORM” reporting utility of the organization and will assist in the execution of Firmwide Risk Assessments.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead production and execution of various Cross LOB/CF Operational Risk Assessments
- Provide data analytics, deriving insights, and organizing various operational risk data for senior management consumption.
- Lead independently in organization wide projects undertaken within ORM, including, but not limited to, leading working group meetings with 10+ stakeholders, drive engagement, analytics, and prepare management ready presentation.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to gather inputs, receive feedback as it pertains to the risk assessment tools / reporting.
- Work collaboratively with global team members across all LOBs and Corporate Functions and participate actively in working groups.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Qualified graduate with minimum of 3 years of experience in Compliance, Audit, Controls background within the large financial institution
- Very strong data mining and advanced analytics skills required utilizing MS Office Suite, i.e. Excel (advanced formulas, VBA), advanced PowerPoint skills and Tableau
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Analyze data effectively, distill insights / themes into easily understandable terms
- A self-starter who adapts to a fast paced and results driven environment and who is committed to put in the necessary time to meet deliverables and make escalations when appropriate
- Possess a sense of urgency, proactive, intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, excellent analytical, problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to make research connections across disconnected datasets and workstreams
- Established record of meticulous attention to detail with critical tasks
