Associate Manager, Web DevelopmentThe Associate Manager, Web Development will provide a mentor and lead a team and have a passion for technology ensuring the delivery of high-quality enterprise-class products. In this position, you will manage software development & test teams and the scalability, longevity, and durability of relevant product releases.
What you will do:
- Drive financial accountability across direct team. Participate in cost center budget creation, projections, and tracking activities.
- Contribute and execute customer facing activities like Voice of Customer and customer centric design in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive functional excellence initiatives, deliver high quality R&D functional deliverables, and ensure technical excellence for product or technology development. Drive technical projects of major magnitude and scope
- Provide significant guidance and approval regarding technical strategies and approaches.
- Lead the Agile development process, including planning, code reviews, code hygiene, and alignment with important product releases
- Collaborate with the NA teams, Technical Support, Escalations team, and DevOps to anticipate and mitigate project issues as well as troubleshoot issues encountered by customers
- Provide guidance and training to staff, assists subordinates in attaining career goals, motivate individuals to achieve results, and recruit and maintain a high-quality staff.
- Develop and monitor department budgets, determines appropriate staff levels, schedules and resources.
- Co-ordinate sessions with project managers/core team leaders to look for opportunities for staff to learn about new initiatives or volunteer on new projects.
- Drive the development of department tools and methodologies.
- Determine project staff assignments and schedule work to meet completion dates and R&D deliverables. Establish cross-functional team relationships.
What you will need:
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in front end web UI development using Angular with 4+ years direct people management experience .Good knowledge on.
- Good experience with the most up-to-date Swift version, and can mix it with Objective-C
- Knowledge of App Security, Cryptography, Agile Methodologies and Azure cloud platforms.
- Implementation of understanding of multi-threading, asynchronous concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Talented performance coach who is skilled at providing actionable feedback to team members, setting clear performance objectives and managing team member performance.
- General knowledge of the healthcare market and competitors.
- Experience executing a talent and performance management strategy.
- Proven ability to deliver programs or other business goals on time, on quality and within budget
