Job Summary (Summarize the primary purpose & key accountabilities of the job function.)
- Drives program and has overall accountability for programs objective delivery.
- Primary function is to support Early-stage API process development, on-market product support , Analytical support wrt AMV, AMTE, Remediation, API process development , Regulatory responses support to meet internal / external customer requirements while meeting all the compliance requirements.
- Support Analytical method validation, Impurity synthesis, process safety group and other support as required for network & management of CRO / CMO’s
Job Responsibilities (Indicate the primary responsibilities critical to the job function.)
- Effectively plan, execute, manage, and deliver on all assigned simple or complex projects, in global regions. Provide support in program execution, resolution of issues, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Provide Program Management support team by defining clear, realistic goals; removes barriers to ensure team progress, and facilitates decision-making at right time . Facilitates resolution and appropriate escalation of conflicts within the team and with other stakeholders to ensure programs success.
- Manages internal and external business partners to achieve programs objectives. Engages, influences, and coordinates with all functions involved in the development of the assigned products. Work with other functions in the organization to ensure stakeholders’ requirements are addressed
- Establishes program goals and milestones in alignment with respective programs end customer strategy and processes. Monitor the existing processes and may propose or implement process changes where needed which will support the efficiency increase of delivery
- Foresee and recognize potential challenges that may impact the program and works towards clearing the barriers, resolve conflicts or facilitates for faster resolution with the appropriate team member/s. As required , raises issues to higher levels of management and arrive agreed upon resolution.
- Develop, maintain, and manage project budgets and provide project updates and information to support the financial reporting cycles
- Lead discussion with leadership team for the programs by bring out all the required information in a crystal-clear way to convey the progress , challenges , Risk , recommendations & ask
- Provide timely and accurate staffing and resource requirement for supporting the project team for timely delivery
- Engage program team and stakeholders. Organize and facilitate effective project meetings
Qualifications/Skills: Education - Experience - Additional Requirements (Indicate qualifications and skills that are necessary for performance of responsibilities including: education, relevant experience, licenses, certifications, and other job-related technical and managerial skills.)
Qualifications/Skills:
- Educational qualification – Minimum Master of Science or Engineering in scientific field related to Pharmaceuticals
- 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industries (API / Finished dosage) in product development, with significant experience in project and/or program management. Experience in managing multiple projects
- Ensures effective, accurate, and timely communication of program information to meet the needs of the team and stakeholders.
- Supports to achieve project level goals that contribute to the overall goals of the business and monitors progress against these goals
- Role requires leadership primarily by influence.
- Clarifies project deliverables/workload to enable partner lines to assess resource needs, raise gaps, and partner with team leadership to resolve
- Demonstrated influencing and negotiating skills. High awareness of personal limits and a willingness to proactively consult others to ensure quality of judgement.
- Experience in project management, development. Exposure to project governance and/or alliance management.
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams as well as working independently in ambiguous situations/assignments, gathering input from colleagues and management to address issues
- Familiarity with planning, scheduling, and forecasting.
- Requires excellent English oral and written communication skills. And the ability to understand and convey scientific information to varied audience.
