We are looking for highly motivated junior analysts for our Research team. The individual will work closely with a team of Economists in New York, London, and Hongkong to help expand our analytics toolkit, analyze data sets to identify trends and patterns and apply statistical and machine learning techniques to produce cutting edge insights for Research publication. We offer high impact projects with peers in New York, London, and Hongkong. Your contributions will be visible and you will have the opportunity to gain insight into the fascinating world of banking and finance, coauthor and publish research reports, and interact with Morgan Stanley clients. Responsibilities Acquire, clean, maintain, and analyze economic data sets to identify trends and patterns Assist in the development and implementation of economic models and forecasting techniques to assess economic conditions and predict future trends Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings on economic findings, highlighting key insights and recommendations for internal stakeholders Collaborate with senior economists and other team members to conduct economic impact assessments and policy evaluations Stay updated on relevant economic theories, methodologies, and best practices to enhance economic analysis techniques
