About the department
Procurement GBS is the offshoring unit of Global Procurement and is part of Finance GBS Bangalore. Purchasing operations - HQ is a team within Procurement GBS that is overall responsible for indirect spend, delivering and supporting order management, invoice resolution activities, query management, tactical sourcing, P2P system support, and PO audit controls. The team is based in Bangalore, a vibrant city known for its dynamic and fast-paced work environment.


The position
As an Associate II at Novo Nordisk, you will:


  • Manage Procure to Pay (P2P) activities. Meet defined operational KPIs and individual targets.
  • Handle order management, including conversion of PR to PO and PO amendments/closure.
  • Resolve invoice blocks by collaborating with the payables team. Manage GR/IR imbalances through collaboration with end users and suppliers.
  • Effectively manage user/supplier queries in line with TAT & C-SAT. Ensure high customer satisfaction through First Time Right (FTR) resolution.
  • Facilitate supplier on-boarding/change requests in Coupa. Identify and report any non-compliance issues.
  • Maintain a continued focus on customer service and service targets according to SLA’s.

Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who have:


  • A bachelor’s/master’s degree from a reputed university, preferably in business administration/finance/supply chain.
  • 2-3 years of experience in purchase to pay (P2P) activities across indirect procurement categories.
  • Strong expertise in SAP MM, Coupa, Ariba, and other ERPs/purchase to pay (P2P) systems.
  • A strong understanding of the purchase to pay (P2P) value chain.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written English) and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Basic MS Office knowledge and collaborative working skills.
  • Flexibility to support different time zones.
