The position
As a Associate II-Finance at Novo Nordisk, you will Handle general accounting tasks including posting of incoming and outgoing payments, cash application, GL postings, invoicing, reconciliations, and month-end close. Your responsibilities also include the following tasks:


  • Conduct bank reconciliations, including Sarbox controls, and clear and reconcile IHB accounts using the SAP system. Process intercompany transactions, ensuring reconciliation and correct accounting flow.
  • Manage month-end activities such as inventory reporting, depreciation posting, and currency revaluation.
  • Share best practices and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in projects focused on process optimisation and maintain service targets according to SLA.

Qualifications


  • A Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent) with 1-4 years of experience within an accounting/economy function in a larger organization.
  • Experience working with SAP ERP systems (FI/CO and SD) and bank systems, including international bank transfers and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in accounts receivables tasks, including intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Experience with system interfaces to ERP.
  • Good knowledge of accounting documentation, Sarbox approach, and audit material.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office and good communication skills (oral & written).
