About the department


Global Finance GBS Bangalore was established in 2007, is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Headquarters, region Europe, North America, International Operations (IO) & GBS Bangalore. The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.


The Position


As an Associate II in Finance GBS – Intercompany CoE, you will be participating in the daily tasks within the department and participate in the regular period end activities. Focus areas would be the regular tasks of banking operations including period end activities. Along with this, you will be responsible for below mentioned activities:


  • Responsible for the intercompany accounting tasks, accounting of intercompany invoices, cross company posting along with supporting affiliates and customer queries.
  • Involved in managing intercompany reconciliations and month-end reporting.
  • Experience working with SAP and accounts receivables or accounts payable tasks including intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Transaction processing of service fee invoices and ensure correct documentation compared to contract.
  • Ensure correct VAT handling of transactions with affiliates along with coordination with the GL team during month end closure.


Qualifications


  • Minimum of Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent qualification with good academic track record and grades.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in R2R(Intercompany process).
  • Ability to learn new things.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Team player.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.
