Associate HR Business Partner


Seeking a dynamic and motivated HR professional to join our India business. The Associate HRBP will support HR operations both locally and globally, assisting in the implementation of HR strategies that align with business goals. This role requires a proactive individual who can work closely with key stakeholders to ensure seamless HR support in areas such as employee engagement, talent management, performance development, and organizational initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Senior HRBP in delivering HR services in India and global teams
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, processes, and procedures
  • Collaborate with center of excellence and enabling functions to ensure seamless coordination and roll out of HR initiatives
  • Support initiatives that drive employee engagement and contribute to a positive work culture
  • Participate in planning and executing employee engagement activities and programs
  • Help identify key areas for improvement in employee engagement and work with the HR team to develop action plans
  • Partner with the recruitment team to provide support for hiring processes, from requisition to onboarding
  • Facilitate new employee orientations, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires in India and global locations
  • Assist in identifying skill gaps and supporting workforce planning for future talent needs
  • Provide support in the annual performance review process, working closely with managers to ensure timely and fair appraisals
  • Monitor employee performance and provide guidance on development opportunities, including training and mentoring programs and assist in implementing performance improvement plans as required
  • Work with the L&D team to coordinate training programs that align with business and employee development needs
  • Track learning outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives, providing feedback to the HR leadership
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and HR policies, maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Support internal audits and contribute to HR reporting, including headcount, attrition, and other key HR metrics
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
  • Assist in addressing employee concerns and resolving workplace issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Support the Senior HRBP in conducting investigations, as needed, and facilitating resolution of grievances

This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, with the expectation to work in the office 2-3 days per week.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Master degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in HR, preferably in an HRBP role, HR generalist, or similar role
  • Familiarity with Indian labor laws and global HR practices is a plus
  • Experience in supporting global teams is preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex HR issues with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HRIS software
