Job Description
A leading law firm is looking to hire an Associate (2-4 PQE) for its General Corporate team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on transactional experience and the ability to execute deals independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in M&A, private equity, and general corporate transactions, with a focus on execution.
- Independently conduct due diligence and prepare due diligence reports.
- Draft and review transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, and investment agreements.
- Work closely with clients, senior lawyers, and internal teams to ensure seamless deal execution.
- Provide legal support on transaction structuring and compliance.
Key Requirements:
- 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in a top-tier law firm or reputed corporate law practice.
- Strong transactional experience, beyond just advisory work.
- Ability to conduct due diligence independently and assist in negotiations.
- Excellent drafting, research, and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple deals in a fast-paced environment.
