Job Title: Associate Engineer - IAM


Career Level - C1


Introduction to role


Join a world-leading pharmaceutical company headquartered in the United Kingdom, operating in over 100 countries. As an Associate Engineer - IAM, you will be part of a large infrastructure support and maintenance function that spans several continents. This role requires basic knowledge of Windows Infrastructure and excellent communication skills.


Accountabilities
  • Ensure availability and performance of supported technology/platform services.


  • Initial triaging and remediation, if possible, of all P1, P2, P3, and P4 incidents.


  • Escalate incidents from events to CC/SD on outage incidents.


  • Update Knowledgebase articles.


  • Manage incident queues.


  • Work on Incidents, Changes, Service & Problem Requests.


  • Follow ITIL processes.


  • Provide 24/7 support.


Essential Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent with 0-1 year of operational experience.


  • Good communication skills.


  • Flexibility to work in shifts on a rotational basis covering Americas, EMEA, and ASIAPAC regions 24*7.


  • A self-starter with high levels of drive, energy, resilience, and a desire for professional excellence.


  • Quick learner.


  • Basic infrastructure knowledge.


  • Ability to learn IAM technologies.


  • Knowledge of Active Directory (AD).


  • Ability to write emails.


  • Good communication skills to work with vendors, application users, and third-party service providers.


  • Knowledge in PowerShell, VBScript or BASH shell scripting, Python, Linux script preferred.


Desirable Skills/Experience
  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree.


  • Knowledge in Active Directory.


  • Web development (HTML).


  • Java.


  • JavaScript.


  • PowerShell.


  • SNOW APIs.


  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
