Role Definition:

Understand the user requirement and develop as a project scope which defines the main deliverables of a project, including the responsibilities of each team member and the procedures for completing, verifying, and delivering the project. Conduct thorough testing, analyse data, write test cases and communicate with developers.

Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect. Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects.

Degree Requirement: Engineering graduate

Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a Caterpillar standards, drawing practices, Proficiency in Creo software, PLM tools like Teamcenter, Windchill, VisMockup and PRWB. Basic understanding in skills like snowflake, PowerBI, Power automates.,

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Level Working Knowledge:

• Approaches a situation or problem by defining the problem or issue and determining its significance.
• Makes a systematic comparison of two or more alternative solutions.
• Uses flow charts, matrices, fish diagrams, etc. to disclose meaningful data patterns.
• Identifies the major forces, events and people impacting and impacted by the situation at hand.
• Uses logic and intuition to make inferences about the meaning of the data and arrive at conclusions

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Level Basic Understanding: 

• Explains the value of a disciplined approach to problem solving.
• Describes problem reporting and escalation practices.
• Utilizes accepted procedures for problem analysis and resolution.
• Identifies key aspects of problem-solving techniques used in own area.

Flexibility and Adaptability: Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.

Level Working Knowledge: 

• Adjusts to new or changing assignments, processes, and people.

Preferred Candidate: -

• Engineering graduate with minimum of 5+ years of experience in modelling, detailing with at least 2 years in a leadership role within the automation.
• Proficiency in Creo software, PRWB, Teamcenter, VisMockup up and other design tools.
• Strong understanding of automation, Data analytics, and customization method.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
