The hotel features 292 rooms and suites in the Premier Floor with WiFi access, along with a restaurant, a bar, a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and meeting rooms accommodating up to 400 guests covering a total area of 7 acres. The major access routes are National Highway 7 (from the west) and Srisailam SH (from the east).

Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate Sales operations with the other departments of the organization.
- Develop and/or maintain and improve business relations with all customers of the organization.
- Ensure maintenance of customer database.
- Responsible for targeting new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the organization.
Sales & Marketing Planning
- Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the organization.
- Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing to direct the Sales department to achieve objectives established in the Organization’s Strategic Plan.
People Management
- Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments of Novotel Hyderabad Airport.
- To ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, and guest service.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with all the departments.
- Respond to queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure that the team has been trained for all safety provisions.
- Ensure that all personnel are kept well informed of department’s objectives and policies.
- Motivate and develop team to ensure smooth functioning of the department and promote teamwork.
Operational Management
- Coordinate all activities to maintain and increase business volume. This includes advertising, sales promotions, personal selling, publicity, community relations, special sales projects, employee training and guest relations.
- To identify new business by generating new leads.
- Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing to prepare Annual Sales goals, develop working plans to carry out goals, compare actual achievements against goals and hence take necessary corrective action.
- To meet or exceed agreed sales targets.
- Review internal promotion material on a regular basis to insure that they are consistent with standards set by the Management.
- Work closely with the Public Relations Manager to improve relations between the Organization and the society at large to obtain maximum media coverage of activities within the premises which are of interest locally and internationally.
- To maintain a productive and professional relationship with all clients.
- Submit monthly and weekly sales plan and market analysis (monthly) as well as daily sales/activity reports.
- Maintain close contacts within the neighboring hospitality sectors, with airlines, travel agencies, commercial houses, private clubs, professional associates, etc, to capture business.
- Develop and promote organization’s image and awareness by direct mail campaigns.
- Handle additional responsibilities as and when delegated by the Management.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
- Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management / MBA in Sales
- Minimum of 7 - 8 years of relevant experience and at least 1 year of experience in the similar capacity.
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
