ROLE DETAILS


The Associate Director Learning & Development will lead and drive the L&D team for Lilly Capability Center India (LCCI) - Hyderabad in alignment with the One India hub Learning strategy. The ideal candidate will be adept in leadership development and facilitation, developing and implementing effective learning strategies, a fair understanding of SuccessFactors LMS and support the growth and development of LCCI-HYD.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Leadership Development:
  • Design, facilitate, and lead leadership development programs, workshops, and coaching sessions tailored to various leadership levels, focusing on building critical leadership skills, emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, and performance management.
  • Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions, fostering an engaging and interactive learning environment.
  • Provide development support to emerging and current leaders to enhance their leadership effectiveness.
  • Program Design & Delivery:
    • Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of L&D programs, including leadership development, skill enhancement, and compliance training
    • Ensure a blend of learning modalities, such as digital learning, classroom-based training, blended learning, and leadership workshops
  • Learning Strategy Development & Execution:
    • Co-create and implement the learning strategy for One India hub, ensuring alignment with Global Leadership Development, business goals and the overall talent management strategy
    • Drive the creation and execution of learning initiatives aimed at enhancing employee skills, leadership capabilities, and organizational performance
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Consulting:
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering L&D expertise and recommending appropriate learning solutions to address business needs
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and the larger One India L&D team to ensure alignment on the learning priorities
  • Leadership, Team Management & LMS (SuccessFactors) awareness:
    • Lead and manage a small team of L&D professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development to ensure team success
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture within the One India L&D function
    • A fair understanding of SuccessFactors tool to guide team members
    • Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging trends in L&D to ensure the L&D programs are innovative and aligned with current trends
    • Continuously improve the L&D function’s offerings based on evolving organizational needs and employee feedback

Skills and Expertise:


  • Extensive experience in leadership development, coaching, and facilitating leadership programs
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and learning program delivery
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Fair understanding of SuccessFactors LMS (SF LMS), including reporting, and analytics

Experience and Education:


  • Proven experience in driving L&D strategies and initiatives in a large, complex organization.
  • Minimum of 14 years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
  • Strong experience in facilitating leadership development programs, including in-person and virtual sessions, as well as coaching and growing team members
  • A graduate degree and/or a Post graduate degree in Human Resources/Organizational Development
  • Good to have relevant certifications in Learning/Training
