Job Description:


Improving the employee experience is central to our HR mission, and the newly formed Global Experience Owner group needs a senior professional to translate the initiatives and strategies coming from this group into clear priorities and standard ways of working. This role involves deploying Governance and Agile Methodology across GXO areas in HR and fostering a culture of high-trust and high-challenge within the teams. It includes leading a team of three senior managers directly to deliver Change Management, Documentation and Learning compliance solutions for global HR processes.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategy and Planning: Facilitate quarterly planning with HR GXOs to identify upcoming releases and resource impacts, especially on Change, Documentation and Training. Share Quarterly commitments and progress with relevant HR and Tech stakeholders.
  • Governance and Change Control: Enable HR process & systems governance through Change Control Meetings (CCM). Ensure awareness on proposed enhancements across GXO and HR tech teams and provide platform for identifying interdependencies for CCM network. Facilitate steering forums to review and manage GXO priorities.
  • Foster Collaboration: Work closely with HR GXO teams to ensure that enhancements in pipeline are visible across teams. Share GXO pipeline progress with all HR stakeholders underscoring the value HR is delivering to GSK’s people through these changes.  Take initiative to build capabilities in GXO teams, so they understand interdependencies, identify and align stakeholders towards the change, including Communities of Practice.
  • Agile Ways of working: Build capability within GXO teams on Agile practices and JIRA to drive delivery at pace. Leverage JIRA to bring visibility to pipeline and measure backlog readiness. Partner with HR Tech to enhance Agile ways of working through standard framework for Sprint meetings and retrospectives.
  • Documentation Compliance: Provide guidance to HR Documentation Lead to ensure that Global HR process documentation is reviewed regularly in compliance with GSK written standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to track the effectiveness of GXO teams’ ways of working through PS2 Dashboard.
  • Change Management: Oversee Change and Comms plans to ensure they are aligned with the ongoing priorities and plans of the CoE or function they support. Ensure an appropriate network of change agents in place to support delivery of the change in their area.
  • HR Systems Learning: Steer HR Systems Learning activities to make it easier for GSK people to perform HR processes. Ensure Role-Based Learning curriculum for selected HR roles to ensure right capability for systems use.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HR GXO ways of working and collaborate with HR GXOs and Tech teams to implement enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Proven experience in designing and deploying process and systems, preferably in HR.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA. Agile certification is preferable.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and proven experience of influencing Senior Leadership teams
  • Excellent project management and change management skills. Experience of delivering multi-national, large-scale change, taking an enterprise mindset (able to see big picture).
  • Experience in People leadership roles will be preferred
  • Ability to foster a high-trust and high-challenge culture
  • Able to operate in an environment of high complexity and ambiguity, at a very fast pace
  • Effective in an environment with tight deadlines, finite resource and uncertainty. Drives performance against timelines and budget constraints
  • Atleast a bachelor’s degree in education. MBA is preferable.
