Position:  Finance Lead for Global Capability Centre


Attributes required for position


  • Indian Chartered Accountant / MBA from a reputed institute
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in FP&A - US MNC (preferably Pharma) 
  • Preferred experience as a Financial Controller, FP&A lead, Tax & internal controls
  • Experience in business modeling, business development deals, strategy plans, forecasting
  • Proactive and open to change
  • Strategic thinking, Collaborative and team player
  • Goal-orientated and committed to work
  • Organized with good analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet timelines
  • Strong people management skills
  • Ability to mentor and guide subordinates

Key Responsibilities:


The activities will include but are not limited to:


  • Lead the Finance function for GCC and responsible for end-to-end finance
  • Ensure timely completion of all audits
  • Timely deposit of all statutory taxes and contributions and returns
  • Monthly Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Managing relations with the bankers
  • Work with vertical heads to build the annual forecasts
  • Monthly reports and variance analysis
  • Utilizing BI tools to delivery meaningful insights into business performance
  • Provide analysis and commentary on cost center results
  • Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost saving initiative
  • Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
  • Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
  • Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction and streamlining operations
  • Coordination with the support centres, regional treasury, tax, holding company, Legal and Compliance, facilities etc
  • Coordination with the It finance and other finance verticals
  • Responsible for internal controls and compliance, corporate audit
  • Working closely with centre lead, ops head for smooth working of the GCC
