Job DescriptionAbout the jobHelp our clients-internal and external-understand and use RMS services better by understanding their requirements, queries, and helping address the same through knowledge of data science and RMS.ResponsibilitiesBuilding knowledge of Nielsen suite of products and demonstrating the sameUnderstanding client concernsAble to put forth ways and means of solving client concerns with supervisionAutomation and development of solutions for existing processesTaking initiative to understand concerns/problems in the RMS product and participating in product improvement initiativesAbout you-Qualifications:Professionals with degrees in Maths, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields involving statistical analysis of large data sets.10 years of experience in market research or relevant fieldDetailed  understanding of CPG/FMCG Industry and Retail market impact on client’s businessTeam management experience-at least 2 yearsMindset and Approach to work:Leadership position, responsible for leading a team or initiatives. Deliver scalable, quality, reproducible and measurable complex experiments and PoCs. May lead a team.Cross team/ cross country collaborationSets standards and champions  best practices, scientific methodology and PoCs.Strong awareness of and contributes to  the latest work in the industry, capable of identifying and applying relevant ideas and innovations.Leading innovation in solutions and deployment of the sameLeads , Design and conduct studies, tests and use advanced analytics techniques to build proof of concept and prototypes for use cases.Contribute to identifying third parties and evaluate their capabilities and data sets in order to develop new solutions. Works as data science business leader to partner leaders in CS, Commercial, PL teams besides clientsInfluences, collaborates, and sets clear priorities & expectations for teams and stakeholders.Usually directly manages and/or develops 1-3 Data Scientists.Client cluster/ Market/ Industry level ownershipAddressing client and stakeholder concerns efficientlyGuiding and coaching  small team on I client and stakeholder managementAbility to inform and influence the product development life-cycle, and trajectory  based on the knowledge of the product and technology.Works with Product team to create clarity on and prioritize development.Creates a product focused culture, ensuring team understand the product, and designs processes to ensure the development of solutions centered around clients and/or end users.Creates a culture of continuous innovation focused around product improvements.Ability to estimate and size complex initiatives with multiple dependencies, and ensure initiatives meet cost requirements.Ability to develop solution for functional and non-functional requirements.Functional Skills: Exhibits a solid understanding of CPG Industry for specific core process. Advanced knowledge of RMS/CPS systems/products.Comfortable designing solutions and supporting a team to execute Displays innovative thinking and encourages. experimentation in delivery of work.Can support others to understand and apply more complicated technical principles & methodologies, creating clarity and focus for teams to deliver.Domain expert knowledge at least in one area of the following: programming, statistical analysis / machine learning/deep learning, time series, samplingExperienced in high-level programming languages (f.e. Python, R, SQL, Scala), as well as with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau, MicroStrategy).Able to work in virtual environment.
