Overview
The Customer Marketing team develops Marketing strategies and drives campaigns across the buyer’s journey with the key objective of increasing awareness, strengthening differentiation, and driving demand for Labcorp’s full portfolio of products and services. Labcorp is seeking an Associate Director to lead the Customer Marketing team in our global center of excellence in India. This key role will focus on driving marketing campaigns in partnership with our Product & Segment Marketing team, orchestrating the execution of our global integrated marketing programs, assist in directing our agency relationship, and ensure our sales teams are enabled with the right tools to effectively leverage our marketing programs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Partner with BU Marketers (Customer & Product Segment) in US, to create and execute Marketing strategies, campaigns and programs for all 3 Business Units of Labcorp.
- Collaborate with Product & Segment Marketing to understand business goals and strategies, market sizing and product positioning
- Create and execute campaign plans that bring audience-focused spotlight across enterprise
- Work with both segment, therapeutic, digital, product and research marketing teams to identify and define strategies to support the brand strategy and demand generation needs of our global business
- Lead and deliver brand experience, voice, and visuals across all marketing channels
- The team will lead account-based marketing (ABM) and Customer Experience (CX) for the businesses
- Create positioning and messaging to support new products launch and portfolios to market that serve multiple use cases and personas
- Manage partner agencies or in-house creative teams to deliver messaging and content at the portfolio and product level through datasheets, white papers, blog posts, web content, etc.
- Deliver results with marketing program strategy, planning, development, and implementation through omni-channel approaches (digital, social, print, email, webinar and face-to-face events, etc.)
Campaign Execution
- Orchestrate delivery of campaign plans to ensure alignment with marketing plan
- Manage campaign and annual marketing plan calendar & timelines
- Lead tactic sequencing and prioritization, project management
- Guide content strategy and messaging architecture across all marketing channels (media, web, email, sales, events, etc.)
- Manage audience marketing budget spend (media, agencies, creative, etc.) appropriately by aligning tactical plans with P&S leadership’s strategic priorities
Strategic Stakeholder
- Lead recurring meeting cadence with Product & Segment Marketing to align on focus area’s campaign and annual marketing strategy, timelines, address roadblocks
- Work across organizational structures gracefully, including marketing team, sales and operations to guide decision making
- Apply journey-development strategies in partnership with Growth & Insights and Product & Segment teams to target the right message to the right person at the right time
Metrics & Targeting
- Understand customer and market insights, personas and apply within campaign strategies
- Partner with Product & Segment Marketing to define target audience and segmentation refinement
- Define campaign metrics and analyze performance to monitor and optimize channel and tactical execution
- Track campaign performance of global programs and provide feedback to the business to optimize effectiveness of future campaigns
Requirements:
- 14+ years B2B Marketing experience mandatory within healthcare / life science industry
- Minimum 3 years of experience of leading a team of 10+ members
- Experience in biopharmaceutical segment is desired
- Bachelor’s degree in Science. MBA in Marketing is desirable
- Specific expertise in marketing life science services highly desirable
- Strong understanding of the digital marketing technology landscape and best practices desirable
- Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms and CRMs (ie. Salesforce, Eloqua)
- Experienced in project management skillsets.
- Meticulous attention to detail and effective storytelling
- Strong communication, copywriting and editing skills needed. Should be able to communicate with executive leaders with ease.
