Our goal at GBS is to build sustainable global capabilities to enable the enterprise and our business partners to deliver on their strategies. In this role, key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy and plan that supports the GBS and Global Finance objectives and priorities and aligns with the corporate communications guidelines and standards.
- Effectively lead, coach, and develop a Global team of communications professionals who will deliver high-quality communications and change management solutions to the GBS functions and stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communications governance and the ability to act as a transformation hub partnering with stakeholders through change management activities
- Deliver a comprehensive Communications Playbook for consistent application across the GBS sites
- Partner with Senior GBS leadership and local GBS site contacts to ensure effective communication to enable the Global GBS People Strategy
- Manage the GBS and Global Finance communications channels, including intranet, newsletters, social media, webinars, townhall events, etc.
- Ensure that the GBS brand identity and reputation are well-established and maintained across the GBS sites and the external audiences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the GBS leadership team, Global Finance leadership, the corporate communications team, the GBS site leads, and the GBS function heads.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the communications and change management activities and provide regular feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Play a leading role in the preparation and execution of executive visits to the Sites.
- Lead shift of Communications support from service provider to strategic partner
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or similar Communication/Journalism/Business qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience either within Lilly or external relevant experience.
