The Position 


As an Associate Director at Novo Nordisk, you will manage the overall performance of processes offshored to Finance GBS Bangalore in the area of accounting, ensuring high quality service delivery at a competitive cost level, collaborate cross-functionally to implement process improvements & enhance controls. You will be entrusted with the below responsibility:


  • Lead the strategy and execution of the R2R process.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure high-quality service performance and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Drive the implementation of new internal and external policies, such as the accounting manual and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbox regulations, including performing all Sarbox controls on time and as described in the Internal Control Questionnaire (ICQ).
  • Foster a culture of high employee engagement and develop a high-performing team.
  • Work closely with the leadership team in Finance GBS to drive key people development trainings and activities.

Qualification


  • Relevant academic background at minimum master’s level within Business or Finance. Professional certification such as CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is a plus.
  • Minimum 16-17 years of relevant experience working within Finance offshoring centers and minimum 8-10 years of experience in managing people managers with people and performance management skills.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing the R2R process in a GBS environment along with thorough knowledge of the internal control environment and Sarbox guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive process improvements and standardization, project management skills, including strong change management skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Can operate on strategic, tactical, and operational levels; strong business acumen and ability to think and act as an enterprise leader. This require excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building strong relationships.
