Organization Description:
The Credit & Fraud Risk team helps drive profitable business growth by reducing the risk of fraud and maintaining our customers' confidence in the security of our products. It utilizes an array of tools and ever-evolving technology to detect and combat fraud, minimize the disruption of good spending and provide a world-class customer experience.
Amex’s Risk Products & Data Strategy is at the core of delivering the outstanding customer experience while handling credit and fraud losses at lowest levels in the industry. This team within Risk Products & Data Strategy implements Strategies across Onboarding (Credit & Fraud), Customer Management & Authorization as well as foundational capabilities like Data Derivation/Ingestion, Data Quality and Business Intelligence. We develop, and design logic used in risk management automation that is durable, scalable, easy to deploy and transparent to business strategy partners in real-time and batch environments.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and Deploy Risk Products like Business Logic Management, Data Derivation/Ingestion, Data Quality and Business Intelligence.
  • Work on proprietary Cornerstone/Risk platforms using Big Data Tools and Framework including but not limited to Hive, ETL.
  • Correlate requirements to the impact of logic to cardmembers and perform unit and end-to-end testing
  • Contribute into evaluating and/or developing right tools, common components, and capabilities and Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies
  • Develops deep understanding of business logic, intent and long term objectives to align priorities and develop long life solutions.
  • Adhere to design and quality guidelines and serve as a content expert in their respective use cases and journey.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, MBA or other relevant qualification
  • Relevant Experience: 1 - 4 Years
  • Advanced data manipulation techniques
  • Understanding of data/modelling/analytics/ETL concepts

Technical Skills/Capabilities: Hive, SQL, GCP, Python
