Are you ready to make a significant impact on data quality and management? As an Alexion Data Steward, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the core data of Alexion records. Your responsibilities will include manually updating attributes, processing data change requests, and ensuring data accuracy and quality. Accountabilities


- Manually update attributes of Alexion records to improve core data.
- Process Data Change Requests related to Health Care Master data based on validation from external sources.
- Conduct matching and merging of HCM records.
- Proactively monitor and process queues for all types of data objects in scope.
- Identify, plan, and implement data quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with Commercial Organization business users to meet data availability, completeness, and quality requirements.
- Review and update Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Perform mass data uploads, data cleansing, enrichment, and updates.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and extracts.
- Follow up with requesters to ensure information accuracy.
- Coordinate tasks required in MDM and CRM with IT teams.
- Maintain alignment between CRM and MDM in HCM Data.
- Process GDPR-related requests.
- Enter and validate accounts, professionals, and other client information.
- Report progress to direct line manager.
- Mentor and provide training to less experienced team members.
- Follow data quality rules and processes to remove duplicate data, cleanse inaccurate data, standardize entries, and schedule analysis reports.
- Understand the current state of data providers and how data is entered into CRM/MDM by various user profiles/application interfaces.
- Plan priority areas of improvement and select tools needed to support data quality programs.
- Participate in initiatives to automate recurring data quality tasks.


Essential Skills/Experience


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of databases and database concepts, SQL, analytical tools
- Familiarity with MS Office Tools – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Document processes and adhere to standard operating procedures and processes
- Basic project management skills and attention to detail
- Capable of managing multiple projects/requests simultaneously
- Work in teams, collaborate, and ensure compliance
- Basic to limited exposure to issue/ticket management and/or tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow)


Desirable Skills/Experience


- Exposure to MDM tools and systems – Informatica, Veeva
- Familiarity with tools like Veeva Network, Veeva CRM, Veeva Align, PowerBI, Snowflake
- Industry Data knowledge – OneKey, Veeva Open Data, Definitive Health Care data, Payer Data etc.
