Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Content Editor/Content Editor to join our highly regarded Deals team at Chennai, India. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a team that works on curating Deals from different sources. The team consists of 11 colleagues and is reporting to the Team Manager. We have a great skill set in team and we would love to speak with you if you have a very strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to liaise with internal teams and regional stakeholders.


About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 


  • Minimum B. Pharm Degree, M. Pharm or Pharm D.
  • The candidate should preferably have 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.     
  • Good interpretation and comprehension skills
  • Equipped at using MS Office tools such as Excel, Power Point and Word

It would be great if you also have -


  • Postgraduate or master’s degree
  • Min 6 months - 2 years of experience in relevant field
  • Advance MS office tools knowledge – Excel
  • Self-starter with ability to multitask and prioritize across projects to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, results orientated, enthusiastic, determined to achieve and shows commitment.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and with a team.

What will you be doing in this role? 


  • Responsible for conducting business intelligence research & analysis on public, biotech and pharma companies plus universities related to drug research.
  • Capturing companies developing drugs, devices, nutritional and vitamin supplements, and cosmetics their descriptions, clinical trial information, company descriptions, from press releases, annual reports, quarter and half year reports, sec fillings, company websites, clinical trial reports, NIH reports. rapidly collect and analyse deals competitive intelligence.
  • Achieve production volume and quality targets.
  • Recording of performance against target
  • Taking an active role within the team to ensure targets are met.
  • Maintain awareness of current developments in own technology areas
  • Achieve and maintain consistent quality standards Effective personal planning and time management.
  • Maintain a flexible and adaptable approach towards process change.
  • To take responsibility for identifying technology training and developmental needs for yourself on an on-going basis
  • To make positive efforts to promote personal safety and that of others by taking reasonable care at work, by carrying out the requirements of the law or following recognized codes of practice provided or advised by management to ensure safe working practices.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager / director on a permanent or temporary basis.

About the Team   


The position is for Associate Content Editor/Content Editor in Deals team. This team is responsible for curating Deals from different sources. The team consist of Associate Content Editors, Content Editors, Senior Content Editors, Senior Content Specialist, and a Team Manager.


Hours of Work  


45 working hours a week between 08:30/9:00AM – 05:30/6PM (IST)


Location- Chennai
