Role


As a member of AS L&D, the individual filling the Associate Consultant, Training position will work collaboratively with team members to deliver training solutions on various processes primarily for new hires and expanding the knowledge of tenured partners. Under general direction, the Training Associate develops and delivers learning solutions that are aligned with the business needs and goals.  The Training Associate handles the administration of the implementation of the training sessions and also undertakes appropriate operational and administrative aspects of program management.


Major Duties:


  • Facilitate/deliver instructor-led classes, onsite or remotely, including to create and distribute training communications; to conduct engaging classes that enable the learning of the stated performance objectives and support partners for their operational readiness.


  • Drive use of eLearning (using various eLearning tools) in team/BU. Consistent delivery of high-quality Blended training - Integration of e-learning / blended solutions (promote/accelerate digital learning)


  • Works with management, learning consultants and/or subject matter experts to understand desired business needs and translates the training solution’s design into the development of the training materials.


  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of the training materials.


  • Develops and facilitates/delivers learning and development programs according to management priorities.


  • Maintains a departmental inventory of training materials.


  • Adheres to the work plan to complete deliverables in the expected time frame and notifies team of risks, issues, which may impact the project.


  • Assists in the evaluation of training and organizational development programs for effectiveness and makes recommendations for improvements.


  • Performs session administration activities (e.g., session logistics, LMS updates, materials production, tracks metrics, etc.).


  • Help keep AS L&D Solutions project /program manager informed of potential risks and issues that would impact the key stakeholders


Area Specific Duties:


  • With guidance, develops curriculum for various areas within Functional Training which can be implemented and delivered regardless of geographic location.


  • Coordinate/delivers curriculum, within your location and remotely to other geographic locations.


  • Assists with business partners to provide ongoing training support.


  • Works collaboratively with other Functional Training teams.


Knowledge/Skills and Experience Required:


We seek an experienced professional willing to quickly learn all aspects of COO Operations’ business.


Requirements include:


  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.


  • Design effective training programs to cater to the business needs.


  • Strong knowledge on MS office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word


  • Create training materials, modules, and resources that align with the organization's processes, standards, and client requirements.


  • Confident formal presentation skills


  • Good analytical skills


  • Ensure that training content is up-to-date, relevant, and reflective of industry best practices.


  • Attention to detail


  • Ability to work well under pressure and to work with all levels of staff


  • Self-starter and team player


  • One to three years of training experience, especially in training facilitation & content development.


  • Training /Facilitation experience within operations.


  • Business acumen of Asset Servicing domains would be an added advantage


  • Basic financial acumen and knowledge of financial products


  • Should have knowledge on MS excel reporting activities


  • Quick Learner and has the ability to multi task between projects


  • Should be Train The Trainer certified.

Candidates passing initial interview rounds will be asked to present a short training session/presentation of their own design and to submit related materials in MS PowerPoint and Word format. More detailed instructions will be provided.
