At AXA XL, we have a dedicated Claims BI and Reporting team that caters to the critical reporting and analytical needs of the Claims Function at large. As an Associate Consultant BI and Reporting for Claims, you will play a critical role in developing/furnishing reports for analysis to the management and stakeholders (internally), you will help in developing reporting strategies for KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). You will also help create/optimize existing dashboards in aiding management with strategic decisions. What will your essential responsibilities include?


·Understand the business process and operational requirements from a reporting and design standpoint.


·Develop analytical, regulatory, and operational reports and dashboards for (Insurance) Claims data, using business intelligence tools (such as Power BI).


·Deliver recurring reports to the Claims Operations Functional Head / Operations Management to drive operational decisions to govern Key Performance Indicators (KPI).


·Stakeholder Management - Work with business/ regional stakeholders to understand data requirements and build custom Excel-based reports to cater to their needs. This includes building macro-based or power-pivot-based Excel dashboards.


·Manage workload and production of reports in a timely manner, ensuring compliance, governance, and data quality.


·Support ad-hoc reports and tailor-made reporting requests based on the target audience for further analysis and business decisions (internal/functional management, internal stakeholders or Business and Regional Leads).


·Support initiatives and projects related to data and reporting needs of the business function, with an end-to-end view of the system landscape.


·Display a continuous improvement mindset and improvise existing reporting processes, services, and infrastructure.
·Building PowerPoint decks for business reviews.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:


Required Skills and Abilities:


·Graduate/Postgraduate in relevant field or Insurance/Finance/Accounting.


·Relevant years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in the field of business intelligence.


·Excellent in Advance Excel, MS Access, VBA macros, and Power BI.


·Business Analyst - Practical experience in building dashboards through Power BI in Cloud automation such as Power Automate and similar.


Desired Skills and Abilities:


·Advanced skills in data analytics and data modelling with reporting front-end tools (MS Power BI or similar).


·Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.


·Relevant working experience in the insurance industry is a plus.


·Effective communication skills, presentation skills, self-management skills, stress resilience, highly organized with good attention to detail.


·Self-driven, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
