Job Description


PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Associate/Senior Associate will assist in building client materials and various prospects/marketing materials, updating market and fund specific data within existing materials on a monthly, quarterly or ad hoc basis. The Associate will also be responsible for tailoring materials to reflect market environment to meet needs of various users.


  • Interface and develop strong working relationships with all internal subject matter experts of the Firm (portfolio management, business development, operations, legal, compliance and human resources)
  • Build and “own” client materials and various prospect/marketing materials, updating market and fund specific data within existing materials on a quarterly or ad-hoc basis
  • Produce quarterly portfolio reports and letters for investors, working with Finance and Portfolio Management teams to collate relevant data.
  • Drive process for creating responses to investor questionnaires, due diligence, and ad-hoc requests for existing and potential clients.
  • Maintain quantitative and qualitative key metrics on competitors.
  • Help to identify areas of risk and pro‐actively propose innovative business solutions required to increase the efficiency of information flow and communication channels between different areas of the business.
  • Take on ad-hoc projects and support all other teammates with their work as needed.
  • Build and edit marketing investor materials for co‐investment and funds.
  • Crafting & updating deal one pager and case studie


  • Creating deal capital call notice and deal tear sheets and deal slides
  • Handling and updating deal pipeline information
  • Other ad-hoc or periodical projects as per requirement.

QUALIFICATIONS


Education:


  • CFA or Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business, finance, or another pre-professional field, or a discipline with exposure to accounting or corporate finance.

Experience Required:  


  • 3–5/6-8 years of experience
  • Working in an investor relations or product specialist role

General Requirements:


  • Detail oriented
  • Experience with asset management systems or other relational databases
  • Experience at a regional, national, or global financial services firm
  • Self-starter, outstanding communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with “the team”
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and digital literacy
