Associate - Asia Wealth Management (Operations)

Were seeking someone to join our team as an Associate to work as part of the wider business analysis project team with a focus on back & middle office business change, risk and regulatory initiatives. The Asset Transfer team within Asia Wealth Management (AWM) Operations is responsible for entering of securities and cash into the various Morgan Stanley systems to support cash and securities movements into and out of Morgan Stanley, as well as internal movements of cash and stock. The team Supports asset transfer activities (Cash and Security Transfers) for clients of IWM Asia in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. The International Wealth Management Asia Operations Asset Transfer team is responsible for supporting Private Wealth Management business unit in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. Read on What youll do in the role: Processing of asset transfer requests (Payments / Receipts) from the business Liaise with business to clarify any discrepancies Work with authorizers to ensure asset transfer requests are processed in a timely manner Liaise with the various departments to resolve any issues that may affect the timely settlement of the asset transfers Processing of journals Escalate any risk issues to management Strong verbal and written communication skills. A proven track record of delivering exceptional internal client service. An understanding of risk management and escalation. High levels of accuracy and numeracy. The utilization of analytical and investigative skills to a successful conclusion.
