The position


As Associate/Sr. Associate Global Launch manager at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for:


  • Partner & support the launch planning and operations for all portfolio products by collaborating with different functions within the organisation.
  • Partner & support the rollout for key portfolio brands from the first global launches and monitor and track the progress of pilot projects and ensure their future stabilization.
  • Drive commercial cross-functional collaboration connects and support other launch-related connects by other functional departments.
  • Take ownership of Launch Excellence application for portfolio launches and drive the budgeting activities for any product launch, if applicable.
  • Independently execute and manage tasks, ad-hoc deliverables, and projects with minimal supervision.

Qualifications


  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree in business administration or a related field may be preferred by some organizations.
  • 6-7 years’ work experience in areas such as product management, project management, marketing, or sales, with a proven track record of success, in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Good appreciation of commercial side of business.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships and effectively influence all levels of the business.
  • Ability to naturally assume ownership of initiatives, requiring minimal supervision to consistently deliver outstanding results.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different geographies.
  • Consult, present, influence cross-functional team and make recommendations to senior management with courage and confidence.

About the department


The Commercial, Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning, and Commercial Operations. The unit also supports BioPharma global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders. With a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere, the GBS unit offers a collaborative and supportive work environment where you can make a difference in driving the success of our business.
