Job Description

Supporting the Commercial Operations, Sales and Offering teams in all areas of the day-to-day functions. This will include support in the preparation of reports, trends analysis and tracking strategic metrics. The position will also require strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with different stakeholders across the organization, driving workstreams and initiatives that support business objectives.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Supports Commercial Operations activities 


  • Works closely with Commercial Operations managers to assist in improving sales productivity, forecasting processes, and manage monthly reports/analytics
  • Responsible for specific commercial operations workstreams, engaging with multiple stakeholders across the organization.
  • Interrogates finance & CRM system and sales contracts to analyze drivers of revenue trends which includes analysis of volume growth, price increase, discounts, new business etc.
  • Supports the implementation of Business Intelligence tools to automate existing processes and enhances reporting & analytical experience across different teams.
  • Supports preparation of different reports and tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for management review. Supports in reporting financials for management meetings, reviews and budget planning
  • Creates monthly and ad-hoc reporting presentation decks for management meetings and functional reviews, showing business KPIs, and forecasted business results against set benchmarks.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel as well as PowerPoint presentation preparation tools (Think Cell)
  • Ability to be self-directed, prioritize opportunities and perform multiple tasks
  • Ability to maintain demanding timelines  
  • Ability to derive insights from data and convert them into meaningful information
  • Solid competency in working with data and reports development using BI Tools, preferably in PowerBI.
  • Able to quickly understand and adopt to changing sales/IT/finance systems
  • Possess strong organizational, communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes
  • Experience writing SQL queries for validation and analysis, is nice to have

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • Strong academic record, advanced degree or MBA an advantage
  • Sales, Commercial Ops, Finance and/or strategy experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience with ERP & CRM tools (SAP, Hyperion, Oracle & Salesforce)
  • Experience in Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI)
  • Experience delivering projects, reports, presentations and analysis
  • Experience with automation tools, is beneficial
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Devices desirable
