Most of the current work encompasses managing credit risk, process risk in payment and liquidity business, intra-day exposure, balance sheet exposure and pro-active portfolio analysis. Services Cash Risk Management is a vertical unit providing full range of risk advisory services to the front line businesses in their product implementation and partners with Operations, Technology, Compliance and Legal to mitigate P&L impacts to Services Business. Role Scope:Daily clearing limit excesses for Services Cash and SS businesses. (3000+ a month) management of Follow-the-Sun, clearing optimizationClearing and OD excess monitoring and challenges at a client and portfolio leveI.Responsibilities:Authorize payments and securities services (SecSvcs) limit excess approvals across Western Europe, manage follow the sun limit allocationsProvide analysis in collaboration with 1LOD on the portfolio, offering recommendations for line risk reviews reviews in downgrades and distressed client/country casesPartner with the first line of defense (LOD) to optimize clearing limits for the assigned portfolio.Evaluate and challenge overdraft exceptions, ensuring their resolution in coordination with relationship management units.As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure: Experience:Overall 8+ years experienceThe role requires a detailed understanding of payments, securities services and creditprocesses in the firm to enable the incumbent to make connections to challenge and advise business effectively Product subject matter expertise and well rounded risk management experience are key complimentary requirements for the successful incumbentA good understanding of TTS Payments products, LMS and Securities Services products, their set ups and interactions with risk and product systemsKnowledge on following Citi specific tools/systems will be also very helpful given the Optima, Facility Management, GCCS (Securities), RBCS/ Flexcube.Individual contributor for the product he/she manages with ability to develop credibility, strengthening their communication skills and developing influencing skillsEducation:Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experienceWorking at Citi is far more than just a job.
