Citi Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial management and related controls. The Finance Reporting Analyst is an entry level position responsible for assisting in the generation, analysis, and submission of financial reports, in coordination with the broader Financial Reporting Team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of reports in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
The Finance Reporting Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the generation, tracking and submission of financial reports in coordination with the Finance Team. The overall objective of this role is to accurately prepare and report business/financial transactions, reports and statements in accordance with local regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- GRA-related Reporting – VAT, ERBA, Citi Insight Profitability Analysis
- Intermediation Fee Calculation
- Exception Adjustments & Overrides - Monthly / Quarterly Recurring and Adhoc
- End User Report Access & Training – IFW and Citi Insight training Sessions & Enquiries
- Balance Sheet Account Ownership
- Manage the GRA queries and escalations and ensure SLA
- Manage stake holders in country CFO, Controllers and FP&A groups and lead various calls
- Ensure that operational team is aligned with Governance team initiatives, providing updates as necessary to senior management
- Ensure seamless workflow
- Support reengineering initiatives to enhance the process workflow and controls
- Complex trouble shooting
- Managing audit
Required skills :
Product knowledge around ICG products (M&A, ECM, DCM, Loans/Markets)
Excellent analytical skills and a strong financial accounting background
Excellent communication/presentation skills
Reasonable understanding of inter-affiliate billing and settlement processes and methodologies
Proven experience in managing end-to-end process
Ability to work independently with limited direction
Result Oriented
Ability to lead teams in a dynamic environment
Ability to handle multiple tasks with aggressive deadlines
Strong inter-personal skills
Strong Problem solving ability
Qualifications:
5+ years of related experience
Financial Services Industry and Project Management experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards
Ability to work with multiple functions
Proven problem-solving skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
