We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Financial Crime (FC) Detection and Digital Enablement (DE)


Principal responsibilities


  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for enhancing tooling capabilities.
  • Manage Tools: Evaluate tools according to end-user needs while taking maintenance challenges into account. Integrate Data Sources: Work on integrating disparate data sources while ensuring data integrity and consistency across platforms.
  • Stay Updated on Emerging Technologies: Keep informed about new tools, technologies, and methodologies in analytics, and recommend enhancements based on findings.
  • Evaluate New Technologies: Experiment with and assess new tools, technologies, and frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in analytics processes.
  • Collaborate with IT Architecture Teams: Partner with IT architecture teams to ensure that analytical tools integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
  • Assess Security Aspects: Evaluate the security features of analytical tools, including data access controls, encryption methods, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Implement Security Measures: Develop and implement security measures to protect sensitive data and mitigate potential risks.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer technical expertise and support to users, troubleshoot issues, and optimize tool performance.
  • Document Processes: Create and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and technical specifications related to analytical tools.
  • Represent the Organization: Act as a representative of HSBC in senior-level discussions regarding analytical tooling and solutions with stakeholders, delivery partners, and other key decision-makers as needed.
